魚骨は誤飲の原因として多い

耳鼻科領域の魚骨誤飲で最多は、ウナギが最も多く（n＝39），次いでサバ（n＝33），サケ（n＝33），アジ（n＝30），カレイ（n＝30）であった。

カレイの魚骨は下咽頭や食道に留まっていることが多かった（9/30，30％）

さらに魚骨は上部消化管の穿通をする。

⇒なお、内視鏡的に安全に除去可能なケースでは手術せずに保存的に改善可能である。

なお、魚骨以外には爪楊枝も重要な鑑別

⇒これは結腸を貫通して緊急手術になった症例

⇒小腸内で穿通した爪楊枝　爪楊枝は高吸収のCT画像になるが、その目で見ないとわかりにくいこともある。

なお、内視鏡的に爪楊枝を摘出できれば手術は不要
